2 BED STARTER HOME
FRASERBURGH, ABERDEENSHIRE

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This starter home is situated near the fishing town of Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire.   Built for a farming family it provides accommodation for the eldest son with the possibility of use for holiday letting if required.  The house sits on an elevated site with extensive views over the surrounding countryside.

The layout provides an open plan lounge / dining / kitchen area, and spacious main bedroom.  A smaller bedroom and shower room are provided off the entrance hall.

The building is constructed using our double tongued and grooved log construction for the main walls, all external wall areas are clad with our external insulated cladding system.  Internal partitions are conventional timber frame clad both sides with plaster board.  Solid Douglas Fir purlins supported on the cross walls carry the timber lined ceiling and roof construction.  A full height window and patio door in the lounge adds to the feeling of space achieved by the open cathedral roof.
