Illustrative costs for the projects included with this information pack are given on the back of each sheet.  A typical specification is given at the end of the pack, and an outline specification for each building, highlighting the main components, is included in each summary.  Detailed specifications are available on request.

Overall design and specification significantly affect square foot and square metre costs.   Please bear this in mind when using these figures to assess anticipated costs for any project you may be considering.  we can normally provide costs for small to medium sized projects within 7 - 10 working days of receipt of drawings / sketches.   When comparing costs with other alternatives please also compare specifications, many imported kits exclude heavier items e.g. roof tiles and glazing (to keep down transport costs), and may also exclude materials readily available in this country e.g. insulation, roofing felt etc.  We are pleased to answer any queries you may have on our specifications.  When considering options it is important to review total project costs, where required we can supply foundation drawings and additional plans to allow you to obtain prices from locally based contractors for the base, and electrical and plumbing works.

• Prices are given for illustrative purpose only, we are pleased to provide formal quotations on request.

• Costs are f.o.b. ex our works in Aberdeenshire, given details we can quote for haulage direct to site.  This is normally by 40ft articulated vehicle for the larger buildings.

• All prices exclude V.A.T. at standard rate.  In general V.A.T. is charged on the supply of all kits and the supply and erection of all buildings, other than dwelling houses which are zero rated.  Self builders of houses can reclaim V.A.T. through their local office.   Park homes are zero rated except for haulage, and any soft furnishings.

• Areas given are calculated by taking the overall internal dimensions of each building i.e. the overall length and width between the external walls, and also include any covered veranda areas.  Some manufacturers use overall external wall dimensions, some even use roof dimensions, both resulting in lower square unit costs, please check!

• Prices include allowances for the preparation of planning and building regulation approval drawings, excluding site related plans, where applicable.
